Jenn Maul, MSN, RN
Owner and Lead Educator
Hi! I'm Jenn Maul and I am a Registered Nurse with more than 16 years experience as a nurse and over 20 years in Healthcare!
I started my nursing career as a new grad in the Emergency Dept. (ED), a med-sized ED and level II trauma center. I jumped right into all things ED Nursing and quickly realized I loved precepting students and new hires and I went back to school to get my MSN in Nursing Education.
In 2008 I became the first ED Educator in my ED and; grew the role for 5 years before stepping away for a new interest in Nursing Informatics. I worked in IT and helped implement Epic at several hospitals and subsequently developed an Informatics Nurse role at a hopsital.
I have also worked in a Director of Nursing Education role and teaching in a New Grad Residency Program. I currently work as a general hospital nurse Educator. In all of these roles I have done a ton inpatient nurse training and education. Everything from onboarding new hires, to annual skills days, mentoring, and coaching, as well as self-care/ burnout education, and so much more!
I believe that one of most amazing things about nursing is that you can re-invent yourself and have (and create!) so many different roles in your career- truly a blessing!
On the personal side, I am married to Mike and have an 11-year-old son, Liam. We love to travel! I enjoy running and yoga, quilting (learned while on "lock-down” for COVID!), and reading (personal development and historical fiction are my favs!). I have picked up baking a lot more too!
Really looking forward to connecting with you!
